Craig Bealmear has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of finance, strategy and commercial leadership roles across the U.S. and U.K.

Craig Bealmear has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of finance, strategy and commercial leadership roles across the U.S. and U.K. He recently retired as Chief Financial Officer for Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REG) based in Ames, Iowa. In that capacity Mr. Bealmear led all financial activities for the firm including Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, IT, Tax, Compliance, Internal Audit, Treasury, and Investor Relations.

Prior to REG, Mr. Bealmear spent 28 years with BP where his last position was as the Chief Financial Officer for its Downstream North America Fuels Business, based in Chicago. He held multiple positions in both BP and ARCO involving marketing, finance, strategy and operations and has led diverse teams ranging from 50 to over 500 people with a reputation for creating an energized, empowered, one-team culture.

Mr. Bealmear holds an MBA degree in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University. He serves on the President’s Council at the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry. He also serves on the board of the Bellarmine University Rubel School of Business Executive Committee. In 2016, he was inducted into Bellarmine University’s Gallery of Distinguished Graduates.

Outside of work Mr. Bealmear enjoys Pilates, cooking, and guitar. He has one son, Josh, and is married to Alison Lupel.
